Chapter 165: Marry Me!
Pain rose in his chest, he ignored it. He ignored the disappointment in his heart too as he smiled at her.
"You do not have a choice." the words felt like a lead between them and her expression changed.
"What do you mean?" looking at her wry eyes he wanted to laugh. He still remembered her following him in the wilderness to gain his attention and he had been this wary toward her.
"My words are clear, Olivia. You know too much, I can not let the royal family have you. You belong here, you belong to me." her eyes widened with shock, fury and something like heartbreak when he stared at them. If only she knew!
She inhaled a deep breath to ignore those emotions. Always caring about others and killing her own feelings. Would she ever change?
"Damon, I am not your enemy. I would never harm you." she took a step closer to cajole her.
"Do I look like a child, Olivia?" He raised a brow. His hand coming for her waist shocked her again. She scowled and attempted to shout but he only laughed.
"You can shout, who would hear you? And you would wake up the kids." The last threat worked because she gritted her teeth in annoyance.
"What do you want?" she snapped, barely holding her patience.
