Chapter 148: Too Fast!
Edward paused when he noticed Damon’s hand on Olivia’s wrist. A look of possessiveness on his face that alerted him.
He stood up following the courtesy to his guests. Every eye fell on Olivia and Damon for his actions.
"Olivia!" He called her intimately. The woman smiled sweetly as she walked in.
"Your highnesses!" she curtsied toward them elegantly before turning to the guests. Then she folded her hands. Her shoulders straight with a look of confidence in her eyes.
"Welcome to our land, I hope you like the food here." her voice left the room stunned. She could speak the eastern language? Why did none of them know?
Even Damon, who had told himself he did not care about her secret, was stunned speechless.
The guest smiled sweetly. The head of their team, a man in his late forties, stood up and folded his hands back.
"I am delighted to hear your accent. It matched us well. Have you ever been to our lands?" his face softened a lot. Before he was talking to them with a stiff look and wary eyes.
"My family land was closer to your land. I spent my childhood there, but it was a long time ago." her eyes dimmed but she shook that feeling away. "I always wanted to meet you and try your food. Please do not mind me, I am just being curious." she laughed sweetly looking embarrassed but the man only looked happy by her comment.
