Reborn, Its Time To Save My Family And.. My Enemy!

Leo stiffened with the change in his tone. He knew Damon might feel insulted when suspicion rose to him. "It is because we are too sad these days. She cooks our favorite food so that we can eat a little. See! We have not eaten much of it." Leo stood up and went to the table to explain well. They have only eaten a bit because they were not hungry yet. But Damon need not know that.

The man stood up with his tall frame and hovered over Leo. Leo closed his eyes instinctively when Damon raised his hand but to his surprise, Damon did not touch him. He picked up the carrot stick instead and dipped it in the hummus.

"Did your aunt make this too?" he pointed at the bread. Leo bit his lips but nodded. Even if he lies, Damon would confirm it from the kitchen anyway.

He did not want the kitchen staff to suffer too. But there was something strange about it. The way Damon ate it with his eyes closed as if he was gaining strange pleasure from the food made Leo’s skin crawl.

Then the man sat on the small table meant for kids. He looked funny sitting there. Abi covered her mouth when a chuckle escaped her lips.

"I.." she was nervous suddenly when Leo shot him a glare. But Damon did not notice it. Or he did not care!

He picked up the mashed potatoes, meat and cheese cubes and then took the bread. Leo was confused first. He had thought Damon wanted to make fun of it. But he was sitting there and eating seriously as if he was starving for days.

"Why are you eating this?" Leo could not help but frown at the way Damon was gobbling everything up. What would they eat later?!
