Chapter 473: A Spy Couple
Lisa left the hospital with a sweet smile on her face. She nodded at all the staff she met in the corridor. Stood and chatted with one in the reception. Everyone smiled at her when she left.
She hired a cab and did not notice that a car was following her.
Alric stared at Nora driving the car with a wide grin on her face.
"I can never understand you." he whispered with disbelief. When she asked him if they could go out for lunch, he had a thousand thoughts in his mind. But who would have thought she wanted to play spy. "You have no reason to follow Max’s girlfriend. But even if you want, you could have hired a detective. Or have asked any staff. Why are you doing it personally? More than that, why did I need to postpone my meeting to follow her?" He looked exasperated. He could not even fathom her intentions anymore.
"ALric! Wouldn’t a club be a better place to spend time?" looking at the sly smile on her face, he shook his head.
"Poor girl! What did she do to get your wrath? And how did you even know she is going to the club? No! The question is.. If you know that she is going to the club, why do you need to follow her then?" nothing makes sense when he was with her.
She tilted her head to look at him when the cars stopped at a red signal and grinned. She signalled him to lean closer and he furrowed his brows.
"Guess!" she grinned, making him sigh.
Just as Nora had guessed, when the signal went green, the cab moved in front of a low key club. He looked at Nora wide eyed when Lisa entered the club.
