"The reports are true. The man had died on his way to the hospital. The police had confirmed that the man died due to serious injuries from the road accident. The driver was Chris Benard."
Nat flipped the channels as she held the remote tightly. Her knuckles had turned white but everytime they showed other news, she would flip the channels until she found a channel where Chris was insulted.
She was sitting on her bed in the hospital room. Yet, her condition was still severe and Max had decided to keep her in the hospital and run a few more tests on her.
He entered the room to check on her when he noticed her empty eyes. He paused and watched her but she did not blink or move. She was sitting there like a statue. The only moment she made was flipping the channels. She was pressing the buttons so hard as if she wanted to kill someone. His eyes dimmed and he slowly closed the door behind him.
He walked but she still did not notice her. She was the same since he had saved her. Barely react, hardly speak and did not move at all. Her only reaction comes from the name, Chris Benard.
"You need to stop that." he enveloped her hands on the remote. She did not move but only stared at him as he blacked her vision.
"Move aside." she snarled but Max did not move.
