"Boss! Your girlfriend is on the news with a reputed doctor. She has filed a complaint against you." Chris was still in the board meeting. He was asking for another chance when the board showed their displeasure against him.
He paused and stood up from his seat earning the attention of everyone. "Boss, you need to leave the office. Police could be there any moment. I will arrange a car for you. They will take you to the safe zone until we handle this matter." the man on the other side continued.
Chris’s face darkened but he knew this was going to happen. That was why he had sent his elite force to follow that car and search for Nat. but they have not yet succeeded.
He had still hoped that it would take some time. He gritted his teeth and rushed to the door but the shareholders did not let him go easily.
"Mr Benard! We are not finished yet. Please sit down and explain yourself." they demanded in a cold voice. Chris paused as he looked at the seven men while holding the door from the other hand.
"Your new product failed. not only that the other company had claimed plagiarism and theft. It is a serious accusation. How is our company going to handle it?" the man asked in a cold voice with a disapproving look.
"I heard it is similar to your other companies too. It could be a coincidence once or twice but how could your every product suffer the same fate, Mr Benard. Please explain or we are forced to give the management to someone else." another announced with an authoritative look.
"Not only that, you have to return the money you have taken from the company account. It is a crime. But we will not take action against you as long as you return it with interest." The man had a haughty composure.
