"And your point is..?" Alric did not spare another glance at those pictures. He looked at the woman with bored eyes.
"Can you not see, she is cheating on you! Spreading her legs for any man she could find! Yet her ego did not accept that my son did not choose her." Priscilia gritted her teeth. How could someone be so blind in love? Even with so much proof, he did not want to listen?
"What kind of a man are you?" She was provoked. "You should already throw her out of this house and... and take revenge on her." just thinking about it made her chest tremble.
She would drag this girl out holding her hair willingly as long as Alric allowed.
"What is wrong with my woman having more men if she wants? Didn’t your son have many women? Is he also a whore as you suggest?" he raised a brow and asked so softly that she felt she misheard him.
If not for Nora’s giggling, Priscilia was sure it was her illusion. Then the words sank in and her face burnt like coal.
"How dare you!" she trembled with rage. This was not the reaction she was expecting. "How could you compare this slut to my son! You foolish, cowar.." she paused when Alric’s face looked grim again.
This man had the strong presence of a ruler. Why did his brain now work then? She took a deep breath when Nora laughed again. This woman was a witch! How could she spellbound so many men?
"Alric Spencer, this woman is sleeping with other men." she said it plainly. "Does it not matter at all?"
