Chapter 416: Keep It Or Not!?
"Sir, a young girl is here to meet you. She told me her name was Nora Stone." Chris, who was writing a note on a file, stopped. His hands paused and he stared at the housekeeper as if he heard wrong.
He was not the only one, Aiden stared at the woman in confusion too. When the woman did not change her statement, he ran to the window and peeked outside.
"Sir! She is really here." Aiden could not hide the shock in his voice. "And she is not alone." the man added when he noticed a figure looming over the girl as if protecting her.
As if Alric had sensed Aiden’s gaze, he raised his head and stared at Aiden with narrowed eyes. They were miles away, yet Aiden broke into cold sweat and took a step back.
Looking at his pale face covered with sweat, Chris felt disgust. He could not believe he had such a weak man around him.
But even he was curious! Why was the couple here?
"Bring them in, i will be there shortly." the housekeeper nodded and left the room. She invited the couple with a sweet smile.
But when she guided them to the waiting room, she was stunned to see Nat walking in the corridor. As if she was a disgusting creature. The woman’s face went ugly as soon as she saw Nat.
"What are you doing here? Go and rest in your room. Hurry up!"Nat blinked and then stared at the couple standing behind the housekeeper with curious eyes.
