Chapter 398: Found Her!
Chris left the office. When he was walking to the corridors, he paused in front of her office. He could see her sitting in her chair and reading a document with a stern face. A tendril fell on her face. A loose tendril of hair fell across her face, and instead of tucking it behind her ear, she blew it away with a soft breath. The simple motion sent a wave of heat through him.
Chris clenched his fists. His pulse pounded, the ache of wanting her coiling tighter in his gut. She wasn’t just beautiful—she was a storm, drawing him in, pulling him under. He had been with beautiful women before, but this was different. Every time he looked at her, a dark, raw hunger surged through him, one he barely understood and couldn’t control.
The desire to have her growing every passing second.
The way she walked, talked and looked at him, everything turned him on which was strange. He should not feel so lost. He did not understand what happened to him when he looked at her.
"Sir! Do you have any agenda to discuss?" a girl with thick rimmed glasses asked Chris in a polite tone. Only then did he tore his gaze away from Nora. Chris turned abruptly, his body rigid, his breath uneven. A woman with thick-rimmed glasses stood beside him, peering up at him curiously.
He could already feel his bulge yet the woman seemed to be unaware of the tempest he was facing.
"No! Forget it." he left the office in a haste as Grace watched him leaving.
Nora who was staring at the file intently raised her head to see his leaving back with a smirk on her face.
Benard took the elevator and left the building hurriedly. It was still daytime and when he stopped the car in front of a large building, there was hardly any crowd.
