Chapter 391: In The Past!
"Why did you not ask for help from your brother? Those men must have belonged to him!" Nora frowned. She could not understand why Emma suffered this much.
"Eh! That is not how our world works. Since we have decided to stand on the opposite side, we can not force others to betray their master." Nora shook her head. Though she did not agree with it, she knew that it meant Emma would not betray her too for her brother.
"I have called your brother. Even if you are standing on the opposite side, he is your only family." EMma sighed as she did not know how to explain it to Nora. her brother would not come.
He was devoted to his work and would not care about blood anymore.
"Have you been here all day? Why don’t you go and rest now that I am better. I will have some food and rest too." Emma explained. Nora shook her head. She pressed the bell and a nurse soon brought EMma’s food.
"I am fine! I have nothing to do much till evening. I will accompany you." EMma wanted to refuse. She had already done enough as the boss by providing her a safe place to heal.
Nora adjusted her bed so that she could eat without sitting. Then she helped Emma in eating.
"Tsk! You look too strange when you serve me." Emma grumbled as she was only fed porridge. She wanted to eat something tasty. But she knew Nora would not allow it.
Nora scoffed at Emma’s childish complaints and forced another spoon.
