"Alric!" she called him again with force when he walked past her as if she was nothing. "You can not insult me like that."
"..." Alriced turned to meet the eyes of the secretary. How could a mere staff have so much courage? "Why?" he titled his head and stared deeply at her, "just the fact that you are sleeping with my father and still plan to sleep with me, proves what kind of woman you are."
The woman’s face went pale. She was only twenty three. Even younger than Alric. Yet she was sleeping with his father. But she had never shared it with everyone.
Could it be.. Mr Spencer! But he.. Looking at her ashen face, many eyes turned to look at her with shock and horror.
When the woman returned to her senses, Alric had already left her alone.
"You are getting better every day!" his father seemed to be in a good mood as she laughed looking at his son. His eyes filled with joy.
He raised a brow but did not react to her praise. Mr Spencer did not mind his cold attitude. He kept smiling at his son.
"You guessed that she was sleeping with me just because she called you by your name. You will soon surpass me with your wits, Alric!" The man gleamed with joy but Alric only found it disgusting.
"What if Ava learns about it?" Alric never dared to call Ava mother in front of this man. He was afraid that even his mother would be used as a pawn by this beast.
