Nora walked hurriedly as if the demons were chasing her. She knew that Benard would do nothing that would impact his public image. But in her past, she had never seen him challenging a woman like this. In public, he had always been a gentleman. Yet he was showing his true colors in front of him. Why? What changed his behavior? She was walking toward the parking lot with a lot on her mind. But she paused as soon as she saw a familiar car parked there.

As if the man had felt her gaze, the window rolled down and Alric tilted his head to look at her. Just by sitting inside the car, Alric looked so handsome that she could not take her gaze away.

Her worries melted into the air at once and a smile appeared on her face.

"What are you doing here?" Alric smiled at her as he opened the door.

"Were you planning to drive yourself then?" Alric raised a brow, waiting for her reply. But Nora only shook her head and entered the car. She knew too well that it was a trap.

Alric laughed as he closed the door behind her.

"Where are we going?" Nora had leaned on the seat and looked at him.

"Hmm, i have booked a table in La Belle Vie but if you have any other idea, i am open for it." Nora shook her head as she watched him drive.
