"You are going already? You have just come, Penny." Lucy smiled tilting her head. Penny flinched looking at the smile on Lucy;s face. How could Lucy be the organiser? Her family was not so rich. Lucy had always wandered around her to maintain her image.
The thought brought Penny some confidence.
"I have come here to donate with my mother since it is for a noble cause. But if I had known that you would be here.." Nora looked at them with disgust. "After betraying me, you still have the nerve to stand in front of me." she glared hard at Jamie.
"You!" Jamie was stunned. He would have accepted if Lucy had accused him. But Penny! Were they not partners in crime?
"Ha! Hahaha!" the sound of applause echoed in the large and empty room. "I never knew that you are such a good actor, Penny. Even when the whole school knows that you are the third party, you still have the nerve to act innocent! It is only because you have had wealth in the past. But what do you have now to boost yourself this much?" hearing the voice full of contempt, Penny was raging.

"I was dating Jamie. But you seduced him and had sex with him just because I liked him. You were not even interested in him in the first place. Or you would have dated him after this incident. I would have died of embarrassment if I had been at your place." Lucy spat with hatred. Penny tried to look away but looking at the eyes full of disgust, she could not bear anymore.
"Lucy! You are meant to own my leftovers all your life. Do you not remember how you used to wear clothes I did not need anymore? The purse I have handed over to you. So what if i have used Jamie first. A man like him does not deserve to stand with me. You should be glad that I have given him a few tips. If not for me, had he ever looked at you?" Penny paused and covered her face with her hands. The dark room was suddenly lit too brightly.
