"Your image?" Keiera was dumbfounded by the question. She and Nora could not even be called friends. They barely know each other. She only had a strong impression of Nora because the owner of this hospital was interested in her.
Mr Spencer had personally monitored her room and checked her progress.
Nora could see the confusion on her face, but she did not mind. She did not know Keiera. But she knew Chloe and her future with Max. it was going to destroy him.
"Nora, there is some misunderstanding." Keirra took her hand back. "Max would decide who he likes. I only have admiration for him. I am not deeply in love to the limit that I would fight for his affection. I am a strong and independent woman. And as you said, he likes naive and innocent types."
"...." Nora pressed her lips.
"And you think that girl is that type? Even if you do not have strong love for Doc, your respect should be enough reason to find the truth of that girl and warn your colleague." as it was Keira’s mistake. Nora looked disappointed and sighed.
Her phone rang in her pocket. Only then did she notice it was past dinner time. Her uncle was calling her.
"Nora! Where are you?" The voice had a hint of anger and worry. Nora looked at Keira apologetically and left the room.
It took her only a few seconds to find the detective. Her lips curled into a smile.
