Chapter 280: Hurt Me!
She looked at Nora who shivered in a cold bathrobe and then at Alric. His shirt was crumpled and had wet spots. Her eyes filled with mockery.
"Mr Spencer, do you think everyone is a fool here?" her harsh voice made Nora sigh. She had a plan when she had returned, but now.. It seems hard to follow.
Yet she could not help but turn to look at Alric. What was he doing here? Why did he come?
"She was fine last night. Did we not share a dinner together where you were uninvited and now you claim that she is so sick that you have to barge at our house uninvited in our absence?" the more she spoke, the more she felt furious.
This man was audacious. What did he think of himself?
"It is the generosity of my maids that they did not call the police. But I am not that kind and patient. If you do not leave my house at once, I will not only call the police but reporters and make sure that you will suffer." she was feeling stifled since last night.
David’s behavior had changed completely toward Nora since Alric had started to take interest in her. She had to nip the bud when she still had a chance.
She looked at the man coldly and spoke in a commanding voice.
Alric was silent so far. Nora felt bad for him. She was sure no one had ever ordered Alric before.
