Chapter 270: Hurt Me!
"You should pay more attention to your image. You have recently earned good fame in the country. If you behave like a barbarian, they will accuse us for your lack of education." as they walked toward Sophia’s study, Sophia could not help but remind Nora who ill mannered she was.
How she wanted to slap the girl for insulting them again and again, but she controlled. Her anger showed in her harsh voice.
"David is fond of you. He sees his brother in you. So he wants to celebrate your achievements. Nora, you should be grateful to have us. But here you are hurting us every chance you get!" she finally turned to face the girl. "You have hurt me deeply. But I am ready to forget the past grievances. Since your university entrance exams are nearby, apply for a leave from the dorms and study at home. I will arrange a personal tutor for both of you." Nora had to accept that the woman was good at acting. Now that she was facing Nora, her face showed no sign of hatred.
She was still cold but like a stern elder who only cared for you. Nora wanted to laugh but she knew they could control her life. Until she finds a way to change her guardians.
"I will ask the principal about it. But for now, I want to return there." Sophia’s face tightened with a deep frown.
"You can return in two days. Today, we have organized a celebratory dinner for you at eight in the evening. You must be ready by seven thirty. Since you are the star, you should get ready like that. Here, I have brought you three new dresses. You can choose any of them." Sophia took out Chanel shopping bags.
"Do not create a scene there Nora. this is the least i can expect from you." she warned before passing the bags. "There would be a helper for your makeup. Alright?" Nora nodded as she held the bags and left for her room.
She opened the bags and laughed. Each of them is a Chanel dress, no wonder. A black, a red, and a striped white dress. The white dress was beautiful beyond measure, it would suit her perfectly. If she was getting married!!
If Nora would wear it just for dinner, everyone would laugh at her. The black dress had a long skirt and a collar that covered her body well but. Its upper part was seen through. Even if she wears something inside, she would only look vulgar with this dress.
