Chapter 207: An Extra Seat
"I am not here to hear excuses. I have left an important meeting to be here. Are you saying you will not change the result?" frowned another man sitting in the corner when the door opened again.
A woman entered the room and nodded at every person sitting and then smiled at the principal.
"Thank you principal!" she slightly bowed her head. "You gave my niece a chance to participate. In return, I have brought this." She took out a check from her bag and placed it on Principal Kai’s table.
The office was filled with uproar. They all started speaking at once with their faces red.
"What is the meaning of this! You are so brazen to offer bribes so openly!"
"Such a shameless woman. But it was the principal at fault. How could he accept the bribe from a student’s family?"
"That is enough. I am calling the police."
"Just you dare! Take photographs, we can use them as proof against them." all kinds of voices started to fill the room. The room heated but Sophia just glared at many of them.
"What does it have to do with you? Bribe? It is just a check for the welfare of the school and their students. Have you not given these cheques at some point of time?" her face was cold and haughty as she spoke arrogantly looking at them as if they did not deserve her attention.
