Chapter 196: Nora Missed Exams
"Sir! Nora is still not here." Alisha stood up and looked at the empty seat worriedly. They were the top ten students selected from their school.
Penny glared at the girl.
"Why are you creating a scene? Do you think the teacher had not noticed it?" she rebuked. No one had ever cared for Nora before. But now, there was not a single day when she did not hear others asking about Nora.
Nora this, Nora that! It had exhausted her to her bones. How she wanted to go and stab that girl to get rid of her now.
"Silence! You all should concentrate on your exams." the teacher scolded both of them. Yet Penny felt better. At least the teacher is not blinded and asking all of them to wait for Nora.
Penny held the examination paper tightly. The exam was difficult. But she had worked day and night to defeat Nora.
She held the pen confidently and started writing answers. There were sixty other students giving exams with them. They all have come to represent their school. Only ten of them would be selected to go to Neglends. They would make history for their school.
Three hours felt two short as they wrote the answers without stopping even to take a breath. Only the sound of rustling of pages and footsteps of teachers could be heard in the large hall.
There were three teachers from different schools in the hall. They walked taking rounds of the whole class with a stern face. Occasionally, one of them would stand behind a student and read their answers. But their faces did not have any expression, making the student even more nervous.
