Chapter 173: Attacked Her
"You bitch! Now that Alex is not here, you are showing your true colors! Are you not shaking with fear anymore?" he stood up and growled at her.
Others stared at her flabbergasted too. Though Mark had lost many times from Alex. He was a person with power. Not even his friends dare to speak arrogantly with him. But she had insulted him directly?
Nora ignored him. She knew he would not reply. She had once followed Alex in that room. He looked flustered at that time.
They noticed she did not reply to them and walked toward the manager’s office.
In his whole life, Mark had never been ignored. He gritted his teeth as he felt humiliated.
"You bitch! Where do you think you are going."He followed her with hasty steps and placed his hand on her shoulder. But before he could get a better hold of her, she covered his hand with hers. Holding it tightly, she pulled him and flipped him on the ground.
It happened at the speed of lightning. Before anyone could react, Mark was lying on the ground with his back aching. He winced and cursed. His face contorted.
"Next time, do not act unbridled in front of me." she crouched on the ground and looked into his eyes. "Especially when I am worried about something." her voice finally broke the spell on others and they finally blinked and ran to Mark. Mark groaned and looked exasperated.
"You! What did you do?" they all glared at her.
