Chapter 172: Where Is Alex?
"Mikey, do you know where Alex is?" Nora was already booking a cab to leave the dorms. She clutched her phone tightly as she called Mikey.
Loud music was heard before Mikey could speak. A part of her hoped that he would reply. Alex was with him.
"Umm Nora. I do not know. I am out with Alisha. We are celebrating our small victory today. I did not see Alex. But I am sure he must be in his room sulking." She heard the background noises and knew there were many people around Mikey.
She went silent but did not cut the call. Her mind was already wandering when Alex realized something was amiss.
"Did something happen, Nora?" he walked out of the room and closed the door behind him. "Did you and Alex have a fight?"
Nora sighed. Her voice fell and her eyes dimmed.
"Mikey, maybe I am just overreacting. But can you tell me where Alex could go when he did not feel good. I am thinking of a racing arena or that club I had met him in."
"Yes, these are the only two places where he often goes. But it is rare for him to go all alone. Wait, I will call Adam and ask." Nora closed her eyes, cursing.
"Adam is out with Lucy too. I will go and look at myself. Sorry for troubling you." She bit her lips and cut the call.
