Chapter 170: She Was A Monster!
Nora’s eyes narrowed. She took out her phone and walked away. Penny frowned and looked at Nora in confusion. That was not what she was expecting. She had already gathered a crowd. If she would fail now!
"Nora.. you can not hurt me just because Alex knew your truth." she shouted at the top of her lungs making Nora pause. But the call had already been connected.
"What are you talking about?" Nora realized this was not as simple as a confrontation. But it was already too late." Penny slapped herself hard and then ran to Nora. she held Nora’s hand and pushed herself to the wall intentionally.
"Nora! I will die this way." but before she could shout, Nora pulled her hands away and stood too far from Penny.
Her shout had brought a lot of spectators. They looked at the blood coming from Penny’s forehead and her miserable state and then at Nora who was standing too far away. Something was off!
Penny stumbled and fell on the ground. Her knees gave out. She looked miserable. Her hair was disheveled and her forehead was swollen with a little scratch that was bleeding.
"Why did you do this to me?" she wailed with a pitiful look on her face. Many girls ran to her and helped her.
"Are you alright? Come, we will take you to the doctor." They tried to hold her. But Penny shook her head and struggled.
"No, this fight had been stretching for too long. Nora.." she looked at Nora with a gut wrenching look. Tears spilled from her eyes and her chest heaved. But she wiped them with her sleeves and stared at Nora again. "Tell me! Why do you hate me so much? Just three months ago, we were like best friends. But now, you hate me so much that you want to kill me! Why?" her voice shook in the end. Full of emotions, she looked so vulnerable that more people went to help her.
