Chapter 159: A Live Show
"I have only come to tell you that I do not believe your words. Stop spouting nonsense and malign others’ names. You have enmity with your sister. But do not include Jamie in it." she spat in a cold voice. Her actions had gained a few looks from the other people.
Lucy flushed as she noticed frowning gazes on her. It was her biggest weakness that she could not hold her temper. But it was because she did not like playing tricks. Speak whatever she believes and never hide anything in her heart.
While Lucy felt embarrassed, Nora only smiled with ease.
She patted the seat as if she was dealing with a cranky child. Lucy narrowed her eyes. Rage filled them, but she sat there.
"I did not sit because you asked me to. I care about rules." she mumbled with a frown and galred at Nora.
"Alright. So, you want this or not?" Nora took out an envelope from her bag. "Or I can also show you a live show!"
"A live show?" Lucy repeated the words with a frown but Nora only nodded with a smile. Her smile was dazzling today. But Lucy only felt irked.
"Explain! What is it that you are planning?" Lucy grabbed Nora’s hands in a tight grip. "If you hurt Jamie in any way, you would regret it." her eyes glowed with threat. Only a fool would ignore her words.
Nora looked at her wrist Lucy was holding and then at Lucy’s cold face. Her eyes flickered with a dangerous glint. But it was gone in a breath. She sighed.
