Chapter 158: Scared Of Ghosts
Penny waited for Nora to return to class. She wanted to see her condition and laugh over it. But when Nora entered, Penny stared at her with a dumbfounded gaze.
It was not only her, many stared at Nora with widened eyes.
"Oh my! What happened to her?"
"Is she really Nora? I can not believe my eyes."
Penny had expected similar whispers but for completely different reasons. She had thought Nora would look gaunt and haggard. She had spent a good amount harassing her last night. But the nora in front of her looks.. Stunning!
She had her hair curled and her eyes looked larger for some reason. She was only dressed in their uniform without makeup. But her skin was shining and her lips. Penny felt venom collected in her mouth.
She heard whispers rising again and turned to look at the door. Lucy entered the room with a gaunt look. Her eyes were bloodshot with dark bags under her eyes. Her hair looked Messy and she walked like a ghost.
"What happened to her? She looks like she has seen a ghost!" elbowed a girl to Lucy’s roommate. The girl shook her head.
"I have no idea. She did not return room last night." she mumbled back while staring at Lucy in confusion.
