Chapter 149: Hard On Yourself!
"There is a limit to lies, Nora. you are accusing the family who had taken care of you so far!" Penny hissed with venom in her eyes. "I will still endure if you insult me. But I would not accept it if you insult my parents. They are your uncle and aunt but I am sure you have forgotten completely about it in your jealousy and hatred."
Both girls spoke with so much emotion that no one knew who to support. Who is speaking the truth? But did they care? Most of them were only looking at the show. Their rift would help them in the future.
Mr Summer felt awkward too.
"That is enough. Do not make a ruckus in the class about your personal matters." he looked at the notes again. "Good work, Nora." he did not say that for a penny as he returned the notes.
Penny felt hatred burning her body. Nora was doing it intentionally.
"Sir! I am not feeling well. I want to go to the infirmary." Mr Summer looked at Penny with a complex gaze before nodding.
Lowering her head, she ran from there. Kate hesitated but did not stand up to follow her.
Many looked at Mike with envy. They wanted to go and ask for notes too but they were embarrassed. They have insulted Nora so many times. They were sure she would not help them. Victor stared at the girl sitting beside him with no emotions. But how could she not be affected after what she had said! He wrote a note and passed it to her.
"You could not come with me this weekend. Would you like to go out today? I have already applied for leave."
