Chapter 136: Last Minute Changes
Penny held Kate’s arm as they walked into the room. A few students had come in advance to get a better place. After all, the whole school is talking about it. They have heard that Penny had contacted a renowned teacher hired by the principal. He had been introduced to the top ten students to help them in studying.
"Then she solved those exams by herself and asked for more. Other students were only able to get one test series because they could not solve other test series. But Penny had solved all of them. She must have worked day and night." a girl expressed with fawning expressions when Penny passed them.
Penny turned and smiled at the girl, making the girl giddy.
A few of them frowned and thought that it was too exaggerated. But exams were coming and Penny had guaranteed that they could be part of the merit list if they followed these questions so they had no choice but to endure.
Most of the room was filled by either too studious students who wanted to earn extra marks or weak students who wanted notes to get pass in all the exams.
But they were the most popular ones. Penny’s eyes gleamed just by looking at them. Two young girls had filled a table with various snacks already.
Penny stood in the center of the room.
"I have never thought that many of you would come. I was only expecting a dozen students who did not want me to feel bad. But thank you, all of you who have come so far to support me. My mother had sent some snacks she had cooked personally for all of you. Please enjoy them while I make final arrangements. We will start with a language subject." The two girls brought the snacks on the trolley and passed the snacks so that students would not waste time.
Many nodded and looked at the penny with appreciation. She had taken care of everything so well.
The door was opened and many students were entering the room one by one. But Penny’s eyes widened when she noticed a particular girl entering the class.
Nora walked forward while EMma followed her like her guard. They scanned the room and took the two empty seats in the fourth line. Everyone turned to look at Nora with a frown. Who did not know that Nora had accused Penny of hurting her. Since then sisters have never been spotted together.
"Nora.." Penny had finally asked her shock and smiled at Nora. "I never thought that you would come too. If you needed notes, you could have come to my room anytime. After all, we are sisters." Penny left the podium and ran to Nora as if she could not wait to hug her. But she was stopped by Kate.
