Chapter 74: Help Her
Two days had passed. The principal did not call her again and the school forum was filling more and more with the rumors about her. Some said that she was seducing the boys of her school. It had a picture where Alex was holding her collar and where she and Victor were having lunch together.
Everyone knew that Victor smiled at everyone but he only had lunch with his buddies. So both pictures gained a lot of attention.
The other rumor was she had injured herself to blackmail her sister. Though this one had no proof and many believed no one could injure herself this much. Many who were dissatisfied with her easily believed her.
Nora ignored another nasty glance as she started packing her things. She knew that many would take more pictures or the bolder one would make videos when she would sit in Victor’s car. So she had told him that she would come to the community where he lives by bus. The boy had frowned but did not argue with her. He had only written his address in detail. As if worried that she could not find it, he had written a set of instructions to reach there too.
Since Alex had gone home for the weekend. She did not need to keep an eye on him. She would use this time to earn a good income from the gaming company and buy more shares out of it. With that thought, she left the building only to find a familiar car parked outside.
Out of instinct, she hid behind a pillar and watched. Penny came out of the car with a bright smile on her face. She was holding many bags in her hands. Keeping them on the ground, she leaned on the window of the car and giggled. Then she kissed someone for a long time.
She did not care if students were standing around to look at her. With a proud look, she ended the kiss and then whispered something before taking a step back and waving. The car turned and left. Only then did Nora’s body start to relax.
She had felt that she was not going to breathe when she noticed the car. So far, she had not met him in this life. But she was not sure if she had the courage to meet him.
"Benard!" even the word was enough to make a hole in her heart.
She took many deep breaths to control herself. Only then did she walk forward. She had expected Penny would have left by then. But surprisingly the girl was still there. She was distributing imported chocolates and snacks to a group of girls surrounding her.
When she heard footsteps, Penny thought more girls had come to ask for chocolates but she was surprised to see Nora walking toward her with a cold face.
A flash of hatred passed her eyes but she hid it instantly. She had spent a good amount on giving gifts to girls of every class. Only then she had gotten rid of the bad rumors about her. As if no one remembered that she had tried to kill her sister. Everyone was praising her for being so kind again and again. With that thought, she smirked when she noticed nora.
