Chapter 63: You Are The Culprit!
Alex’s voice was commanding enough for the teacher to take a step back instinctively. She frowned when she realized that a child had intimidated her. But she did not take another step toward the girl again.
She muttered something and glared at Alex before taking rounds of the class. Ha! The girl was no good. It did not matter if she was awake or sleeping when she was going to fail anyway.
But that did not mean that she forgot the insult she had suffered because of Alex. he had always been arrogant but he had never replied to her before. It must be because of the girl he was trying to protect.
Her eyes flickered and fell on the sleeping figure again. Recently, she had been very popular in the school because of her sudden change in grades and behavior. It must be Alex backing her!
"Ring" the bell rang snapping the woman out of her thoughts. She gave one condescending look to Nora before collecting the papers. Hearing the bell, Nora slowly opened her eyes and stood up to submit her test paper too.
"All you did was sleep? Do you even need to submit an empty test?" the teacher’s voice was loud enough to gain the attention of every student. Prior they were busy solving their own exam papers and did not pay attention to them. But now they heard the teacher loud and clear.
"It is not empty." Nora frowned as she felt many eyes on her.
"Oh yes, I forgot that you did random scribbling on it before sleeping." her voice only getting louder and full of disdain as she snatched the paper from Nora’s hands and left the room.
Nora frowned deeper but shook her head and returned to her seat. But before she could reach there, Penny stopped her way and frowned at her.
