Chapter 14: Truth Would Come Out
David's eyes narrowed at the man. His face had a long frown.
"Who do you think you are?" he asked back, "this is my house, i will throw both of you out of this room." he warned only for his assistant to come forward and whispered something.
The assistant had been waiting for David for a long time. When the boss did not come out, he followed him in the room only to see Alric standing there. Alric looked strangely similar and when they were talking he could not help but take his picture and check on the internet.
What he saw made his eyes widen and break him into cold sweat. He could not believe that his boss was challenging such a godly authority.
But when he tried to warn his boss, his boss glared at him coldly and then smirked at Alric.
"Ha! People with orphanages and NGO's really believe that they are some bigshots! You think you can enter anyone's house and challenge them? Wait, let me take this to the police station and then you will learn your lesson." he warned and took out his phone.
He was expecting Alric to shiver in fear or feel humiliated at least. But he was surprised to see the small smile on his face. He looked amused by the insult David was giving him.
David felt enraged. He was only planning to scare the young boy. But if the young boy was so arrogant, he must be taught a lesson.
With that thought, he took out his cellphone. Since he was in the business world, he had contact with many police officers. He was sure that he could get people like Alric to prison easily.
