Klaus’ brows knitted in worry. If he should use his system power, Lex Dominion’s ability to create a temporary law, it may disrupt the flow of essence in the immediate area. He could temporarily sever the connection between Diana’s consciousness and the vision, shocking her back to reality.
However, this is a risky move, as it might leave her and every other person in the area temporarily weakened and disoriented. And that is not something they could afford right now.
"What are you waiting for?" Bella’s voice broke his trail of thoughts.
"You guys should stand around us, just in case we get attacked," he ordered. The rest of his team immediately circled around them, their hands hovering above their weapons.
As much as Klaus hated what he was about to do right now, he basically had no other choice. "Don’t blame me for this." he muttered.
He took a deep breath before touching Diana’s hand, his own essence forming to bridge the gap between her physical body and her lost consciousness. He then forces his way into her mind, then he sees himself in the midst of chaos.
He saw how monsters were devouring the humans who were trying to run for their lives. Some of the people who were hiding in the car were compressed with their cars by the giant monsters.
Klaus’ breath hitched, these monsters were different from the ones in the domain, he could feel their blood-chilling aura, it was so thick as if a mountain was pressing against his lungs.
But this wasn’t the reason he had come, he needed to find Diana before he would be detected by the monsters. If they die here, their body would be nothing but an empty vessel.
