Chapter 78: Call? Yes!
He had a mischievous smile and used his own phone to dial the number.
But before the phone could ring, he hung up.
"Boss?" His assistant looked at him in confusion.
Merlin sighed before looking at him and asked, "Did you see what the time is right now? She should be asleep by now. How can I disturb her at this hour? I didn’t realize but why didn’t you stop me?"
"..." ’You wanted to call. How can I stop you as your assistant? I want to live, alright?’
He grumbled to himself but on the surface, he lowered his head and apologized immediately, "I am sorry, Boss. I didn’t notice the time either."
Merlin did not care and calmly took another skewer of shrimps and started munching on them.
The sky was dark. It was in the middle of the night. Just because he was awake doesn’t mean that a young lady like Helena would be up as well, right?
