My Cold-Hearted Husband Wants Me Back

Chapter 68: Old Friend

Lunara frowned slightly, glancing around as if expecting someone to be watching her reaction. A name and a phone number. That was it. No message, no explanation. Just a slip of paper left under her plate.

She instinctively glanced at the waiter who had served them, but he was already walking away, attending to another table.

Naomi, noticing Lunara’s sudden distraction, leaned in. "What’s that?" she asked, her voice low.

Lunara hesitated before sliding the paper toward Naomi, who picked it up with a raised brow. "Huh," Naomi mused. "Are we sure this isn’t some secret admirer situation?"

Before Lunara could respond, Eryx’s voice cut through. "What’s that?" His eyes flicked between the two women, sharp and curious.

Lunara quickly crumpled the paper in her hand, her heartbeat quickening. "Nothing," she said, too fast.

Eryx didn’t look convinced. Without hesitation, he handed Mila over to Naomi and reached for Lunara’s hand. His grip was firm as he pried open her fingers.

"Open it," he demanded.

Lunara tried to resist, but Eryx was quicker. He snatched the crumpled paper from her grasp and smoothed it out. His eyes narrowed the moment he read the name written on it.

"Adam."

Without another word, he turned sharply, scanning the restaurant for the waiter who had just delivered their desserts. His gaze locked onto him, and he strode over.
