Dove looked at him in surprise, and Dante too turned towards her and smirked before shrugging and said, "It is always a good thing to hang out with friends, don’t you think? Moreover, when the friend is so pretty, talented and successful. One should never give away any chance to grab on this opportunities. Who knows when you get to ride on the cocktails."
At this being said, Dove blinked her eyes a couple of times, before the both of them burst out laughing. Then pressing her lips in a smile she said, "Given your identity, Dante, I doubt what you said. In fact, I should be the one at the gaining side, isn’t it?" Dante shrugged casually and said, "Well, I don’t mind that. You are always welcome."
"Yours words... I just can’t" Dove chuckled shaking her head. They shared a little more moment of comfortable silence, then it was Dove who asked, "So Dante, tell me about your company. Though I have nothing direct with that industry and field, but even then I have heard really a lot about the Fort Groups. After all, your company does come in the business headlines quite a number of times."
Fort Group was currently the leading security providing company, and that indirectly means that it has its connections with the top executives and CEO’s of almost all the other industry’s companies, political leaders, and other many influential figures, who sought out for their protection. And when they come in headlines, for various reasons, specially when anything remotely close to their security, the Fort Groups too come into the talk.
Moreover, the most prominent news that this group has made in the recent years was how they had raised to be the most reliable security company in just a couple of years, specially after the new mysterious CEO took over the charge. And it has been in Dove’s mind to ask Dante about it. She couldn’t find a perfect time for it all this while. She want to listen about it from him, and maybe learn something or a two from him, that would help her with handling Sterling Corporations.
And Dante was more than happy to indulge in any kind of conversation with her. He readily told her about what were the big measures that he took, and some of the decisions he took and why. Dante also gave her a little inside news, while Dove listened to all of this with great interest and attention. After he was done, Dove nodded her head with an impressed smile. Everything Dante said, and how he spoke, Dove all the while felt that she was indeed listening to someone who has accomplished a significant something.
