Chapter 37: BOSS, IS IT AN EMERGENCY?
Dante remain frozen the entire time Dove was there. And even when she passed by him, every particle of her heavenly and familiar scent was caught by him. His eyes followed her to the staircase, but not even once did she turn her back and ascended up the stairs, leaving his heart beating like crazy.
It would be odd to stare at her for more long and he turned his head back, and put a hand on his drumming left side of his chest. Calix stepped front to him, and whispered in his ears, "Boss, she is Miss Dove." He said it because, Dante had denied to see Dove’s picture and had wanted to see her in person the first time he sees her.
Dante sighed as he slowly resumed his steps towards the door, and nodded, "Y- Yes, I know." And his answer made Calix raise an eyebrow and he looked at Dante and heard him say again, "I can feel."
But what Dante did not know was that, after Dove had alighted the stairs, she for once turned back, her eyes on the first man leading the group. She stared at his direction slightly titling her head before resuming her steps to first go to her room.
And all this interactions, Senior Sterling had been observing with a curious look on his face. And after both Dove and Dante had gone, he chuckled and murmured, "It is interesting." And then he went back to his room.

That whole day, Dante had his mind kept floating back to Dove, and his heart kept beating like crazy. Finally after getting his things done for the day, when he finally got back home at night, he fell back on his bed, staring at the ceiling. Now he finally had all the freedom to occupy his mind with Dove. And he wasted no minute doing that.
He remembered their brief exchange and felt his heart filling with butterflies.
Oh God.. She was just like how he imagined. But only more gorgeously beautiful. And her scent, it was the same. That was same that had been imprinted in his mind. That was why, even before Calix told him that she was Dove, she knew it.
