The only reason why I'd ever wish to be a boy is so I could join the boys Hockey team and keep smashing the hell out of Alex on the ice, pretending it was an accident during practice.
Earlier, I noticed him taking Glyndon with him. His daddy owns this school or something, which is why his bratty ass gets away with everything, always acting like the king of the castle.
"Good practice, Captain," Lia, one of my teammates, said, flashing me a smile.
As much as I wanted to smile back, to thank her and maybe even try to be friendly, I had to hold back.
I didn't want more rumors floating around that I was hitting on the girls on my team.
Sometimes, it gets to me.
I just want to have normal friendships with the girls—smiling, yelling in excitement, maybe even heading to the bathroom to gossip about everything under the sun.
But I'm too scared they'll take my friendliness the wrong way and think I'm just trying to get into their pants.
I ignored Lia and made a beeline for the girls' locker room, stripping off my clothes while keeping my gaze fixed on the floor.
Yes, some girls on my team had complained to the principal about how uncomfortable they felt with me being in the locker room, even though I've never once looked at them in any inappropriate way.
