Chapter 34: I don’t have a problem there
Seeing Seojun boil with rage because of me made me feel touched but I also knew that one more action from him would rather kill Sungho or land him in a fatal condition and that would put Seojun in a rough spot.
It all happened so fast and before I knew it, I found myself taking action. I hooked my arm in Seojun’s and held on tight.
And when I realized what I had done, Seojun was looking at me with confused eyes.
"P-please stop." I said and tried to look him dead in the eyes without wavering. "It... It’s enough, Seojun, let him go."
Seojun still looked at me a bit confused but like a robot getting controlled by a remote, he stiffly let go of Sungho’s shirt and lowered his arm.
Hah, crisis averted.
"Hyung," he suddenly called. "Don’t do that next time." He said and looked at me with eyes that I could not understand, for the first time in a while. It looked like he was scared but there was also a mixture of uncertainty. What was it?
I don’t know why he said that but I don’t think I’ll be using my body to interfere in a fight anytime soon.
"I... I’ll keep that in mind." I said but he suddenly dropped his hands on my shoulders, looking with eyes that I could finally understand. Desperation.
