The Billionaire's Rental Wife Is A Hot Shot

Chapter 207: Wasting No Time

---

The group returned to the Reign Mansion just as the dawn was breaking. The sky was a beautiful gradient of deep blue and soft pink, with the first light of the day gently illuminating the landscape. It was almost 5 AM, and the air was crisp and cool. Jonathan had been waiting anxiously for their return, his worry etched deeply into his features. The ladies had insisted on staying up, but when he heard that Elias was already found, he had forced them to their rooms to rest.

Jonathan caught the sound of footsteps near the entrance and immediately stood up. His butler, who had stubbornly accompanied him, sighed in relief as the group entered the mansion. A small smile crept onto his lips, observing the young man walking with Evelyn.

"What took you guys so long?" Jonathan asked his son. Zevian shook his head, indicating he would speak about it later. Jonathan heaved a small sigh and glanced at the butler, who understood his mission.

"We have already prepared clothes and a room for Young Master," the butler said with a smile.

"Thank you." Evelyn nodded gratefully. Turning to Elias, she patted his shoulder and said, "You must be tired. Go wash up and sleep."

Elias nodded, hesitation visible on his face. Now that many people were aware of his real identity, he couldn’t help but feel uncomfortable around them. And Ronan’s glare, which had been fixed on him ever since they met, made him feel restless.

"This way," the butler gestured toward the corridor. With a sigh, Elias nodded and followed him.

Evelyn watched him, a sigh escaping her lips as he disappeared behind the corridors. She felt he’d be more comfortable in their house than here in the mansion. But they couldn’t move right away since Gracia was safer here.

"You guys should rest too," Jonathan addressed all of them. They were both physically and mentally drained, so he suggested for Ronan and Damien to rest here.

"No, thank you, Mr. Reign. I will return to my penthouse," Ronan politely rejected the offer. He was not used to sleeping anywhere other than his territory. It had been a habit since childhood, and though there was no danger here, it was still a stranger’s den.
