"I guess it’s your lucky night," Vincent humored while Marcus collected his winnings. "What’s wrong?"

"Huh?" Marcus raised his brows as he cast Vincent a quick look. They were just seated right beside each other.

"You don’t look thrilled at all."

"Why would I feel thrilled to win a small amount of money?" Marcus snorted, leaning back after picking up his stick of cigarette. "I’m done. No more. You guys can play, but I’m not in the mood anymore."

"Come on, man! That’s not how we do this!" someone at the table who was playing with them complained. "You can’t just stop after winning three consecutive in a row!"

"Marcus, are you scared that you’ll run out of luck?"

"Just one more game, then you go."

Marcus took a drag of his cigarette and shook his head. "Nah. I’m not in the mood to empty all your funds. Go on, play."

The people at the same table complained and urged him to play another one. They couldn’t just let this guy go after taking a fraction of their money. However, Marcus wouldn’t budge but instead push his seat away to show them he’d just watch.
