Chapter 240. Anna’s Determination
Anna heard this and felt rather astounded. There were a total of five families who controlled the overall of the base. From Lucy’s family, it was her second uncle. Her father was the fourth child. There were a lot of children in her family members and almost all of them entered military.
From Mark’s family, it was his father. His father didn’t have many siblings but some of his cousins also entered military. They were Mark’s distance cousin and everyone worked together most of the time.
There were some contradictions with each other, but it was not too much.
Mason Family and Davis Family were other families that Anna was not close with. And her impression with Davis Family was not very good because of the clash between them and Uncle Darien back then.
She was not sure about the details, though.
"I hope things get better soon," Anna said quietly.
"Well, I hope so too." Lucy sighed. "The only good thing from this is that we’re not the only base that had this problem. From what I heard, all bases are experiencing the same thing and countless people fell sick at almost the same time. At the very least, today alone there were thousands of cases."
Thousands of cases?
Anna shivered when she heard this. She felt that the situation was not good, but she didn’t expect that it would be so bad.
"How do you know the situation of other base?"
"Oh, one of the aunt who’s in the same ward received a call and then talked about it. There’s a negotiation between our base and Sunshine Base in regards to some of murder case."
