Leo watched the Giant Eagles crashing to the ground prompting him to turn them into his Demonic Soldiers that quickly joined the battle. He continued to watch the battle erupt as his knights and now monsters destroyed the Duskwood force.

’Free soldiers, I wonder when they’ll finally figure it out?’ he mused.

As more people died he brought them back which shocked the survivors who tried to flee but he flew after them so fast causing a boom to echo out. Moments later, he reappeared in front of the enemy soldiers with a smirk.

With a sharp snap of his fingers, a flock of Demonic Eagles erupted from his shadow and attacked the remaining Duskwood soldiers, their dark wings slicing through the air as they descended upon the remaining enemies.

Leo let out a low, amused chuckle as the enemy monsters dropped like stones, crashing into the ground below with a wet, sickening thud that echoed across the battlefield. After some time, everything went quiet before his army erupted in cheers.

While hovering there, Neemah joined him as she watched his Demonic Soldiers returning to his shadows. The young devil woman spoke with wide red eyes. ’’How many troops do you have now?’’

’’Not entirely sure but it’s in the millions now,’’ he answered.

Leo quickly scooped her into a princess carry and returned to the bedroom where Astra, Veladra, Roxy, Bella, Luna, and Dark were waiting. He soon realized the other women were training in the fortress’s training yard.

When inside the warm room thunder boomed overhead causing the Demon Queen to sigh. ’’Looks like storm season has hit, we’ll be trapped here until we break through the human’s wall or the snow melts.’’

’’What do you mean?’’ he asked while letting Neemah down.

Before the white-haired woman could speak Veladra interrupted. ’’Our mages were saying that this winter will be the worst in some time, mountains of snow blocking the roads, passes, and every other way back to the empire.’’
