Chapter 200: Haven’t Bitten Me Yet?
Leo was helped up by Dark as she explained. ’’Light magic from a goddess is dangerous but it can be dealt with by yours truly.’’
’’Well thank you for helping me beautiful,’’ he replied before slapping the older woman’s ass which earned him a yelp.
Following that, the couple headed back to the fortress after summoning thousands of Demonic Soldiers. Leo ordered them to fight the incoming enemy army and the shadow beings rushed forward.
When the human soldiers saw this they panicked but it was too late as he stopped flying and watched as his knights carved through the opponent’s ranks with ease. As this happened he ordered them to bring him the dead bodies.
Moments later, a group broke off and started gathering the dead soldiers before dragging them toward the wall. Leo quickly descended to the ground while Dark followed behind and he started transforming the corpses into his troops.
A swarm of eery-looking knights appeared in front of him and it only increased as more was brought forward. The goddess watched as the Demonic Knights rushed into the battle causing their numbers to swell.
’’This is impressive my love,’’ the older woman commented. ’’The Duskwood Empire won’t be able to defend themselves against this force.’’
Leo nodded in silent agreement, and together they observed the chaos unfolding below. Demon reinforcements surged past, a tide of snarling fury, as Astra and Veladra emerged beside them, their faces alight with awe.
The Demon Queen’s voice cut through the noise. ’’These soldiers of yours are extraordinary, husband. If only we’d had them at the war’s dawn.’’
’’Same but fate works in mysterious ways Astra,’’ he replied before turning toward the Duskwood wall.
Without hesitation, he thrust his hand forward as he unleashed a Mana Blast toward the enemy defenses. Power swelled within the spell, intensifying with every heartbeat until it erupted forth.
