Chapter 34: You Will Be The Strongest
Leo, Roxy, and the soldiers beat back the Gibberlings after fighting for half an hour which annoyed him as the monsters would appear out of nowhere and wildly swing their ramshackle blades.
’Damn things are annoying,’ he thought before punching one that got close to the blonde who yelped in fright.
Roxy looked at him with big green eyes and smiled while pointing out more Gibberlings that were rushing at them. He started using Fireball that burned the creatures and sent the others fleeing in terror but he didn’t let them go.
Leo chased them into the trees and whenever he caught he would cast Thunderbolt into their backs. The powerful spell tore them into two parts and they collapsed to the ground with a thud.
He killed a few more before returning to the group were on. When Leo returned the soldiers were tending to the injured as others cleared the road of bodies. Roxy rushed over to him with a beaming smile.
The blonde quickly hugged him while placing a wet kiss on his cheek before speaking, ’’Thank you for helping me babe, those monsters were creepy.’’
Leo waved her away while replying, ’’I wouldn’t let anything hurt you Rox. Now let’s get going.’’
Once he finished speaking he waved his hand while casting Healing Light on everyone which refreshed them. The soldiers turned to Leo with newfound respect and nodded as Agatha approached.
Her pink eyes gleamed as she flashed him a sweet smile, ’’Thank you for helping everyone, Leo. I will inform Father and I’m sure he will reward you for everything that’s happened.’’
