Chapter 475: Growing family (2)
"If you keep worrying so much, you’ll find yourself having a lot of grey hair. That is what my grandmother says. Maybe it would have been a better idea to have the doctor come to us after we travelled to the orphanage," Annalise said, staring at Rafael who sat on the other side of the carriage.
Rafael had left her after they celebrated the news of her being pregnant to find someone to work driving around the carriage in his place. Now he sat inside the carriage with her so he could keep a watchful eye on her.
Annalise made him sit on the other seat so she wouldn’t feel like there was no room for her to breathe. She loved Rafael, but she didn’t need him so close by all the time. It was cute yet annoying sometimes.
She worried about when it would come time for them to part and how Rafael would take it. Annalise was going to miss him, but she could be away from him for a week or two. She was handling this much better than Rafael. Right now, Annalise was thinking that there was a greater chance Rafael would be coming back to the border sooner than they planned.
"Let’s make a deal Rafael. Whenever I feel discomfort with my body, I will tell you," Annalise suggested so he wouldn’t need to try guessing. "However, you must be honest with me if your problems with sleeping come back. Just as you worry about me, there are things I worry about with you."
Annalise was no longer fond of keeping anything a secret because they thought it was best the other person didn’t know so they wouldn’t be concerned. They should know if each other was hurting so they could help.
"I am fine with this," Rafael said, agreeing to go along with her plan.
Annalise had woken up before him when it was time for the doctor to visit them and saw that he was asleep. His sleeping problem was getting better. If it were to ever go back to what it was before, Rafael would consider seeing a doctor as this couldn’t go on for any longer.
"Now do I get your permission to sit beside you?" Rafael asked.
