Chapter 158: Her husband(4)
Life went as usual for Sidney. She was documenting everything and thought that she is getting away. She found out the little things that might be used against him. Although she didn’t know the extent of her husband’s wrongdoings, she knew he had something to do with the disappearance of Laura Brown. That was the night he came back covered in blood.
She also took pieces of the "venison" her husband stored in his freezer, and she is keeping all those in a storage unit that guy she is "seeing" rented. That other guy does not know what she keeps in that storage unit. Only she knows that all the proof that might lead to the arrest of her husband is in that storage unit.
She made the final preparations to leave Lennon for good.
It was then she noticed another woman who is getting closer to her husband. Her spies who are other women in her social circle informed her that her husband was seen with Liam’s secretary near their old mansion.
She is dead too, isn’t she?
She didn’t hand over what she thought are evidence against her husband to the cops, because she knew no one would do anything against him. He has friends in high places, and he spends money like water on them. They will let him walk away.
Also, she naively thought that her husband would be scared and let her leave if he knows that she has those evidence.
He wouldn’t want Rory to know that he is a killer, right?
Derick’s wedding was a perfect opportunity for escaping. Or so she thought. She was planning on sending him alone for the wedding. She didn’t want to step foot inside the Roberts’ house. They don’t treat her well. The only person who treats her well is Rory, and she hated her.
As usual, Derick didn’t even invite them to the wedding, but her husband found a way to shamelessly sneak in. She thought Rory won’t attend the wedding considering that she is getting divorced from Liam, but she had to go to that town because her grandmother was sick.
She despised him when he did not let her stay. She knew he knows something, or he is planning something. She didn’t want to be with him. She was scared.
And now she knows why he brought her here. She knows why he made her pregnant.
