Chapter 456: IT’S TIME
The entire courtyard was filled with snow, white as cotton. That winter, they had a heavy snowfall,even after the new year and the Emperor’s birthday, the snowfall didn’t reduce.
"It snowed a lot the day I met you too", Xing told Chenglei. She was leisurely leaning on Chenglei, with her legs stretched on the couch, with his hand placed on her big belly as he was hugging her from behind.
"Hmm. You were really adorable", he said kissing her cheek while resting his chin on her shoulder and Xing chuckled, "How’d you know?", she patted his cheek with her hand that was warm with him holding it for long.
Xing was in the presumption that Chenglei didn’t remember their past and he didn’t want to change it either.
"I just know. How would a great beauty like you be any less adorable as a child? Impossible! ", Chenglei spun more of his lies realising he almost slipped and exposed his lie.
"What a sweet talker", Xing leaned back and kissed his cheek and he pecked her lips taking his opportunity.
Their room was maintained in a nice temperature with the help of braziers and Xing was wearing just a thin layer of loose clothes since she didn’t like to wear more
"He moved... He is moving... I can feel him...", Chenglei was excited as he sensed the movement in her belly. He couldn’t help but get excited everytime he feels the baby move inside her.
Xing just chuckled. She never guessed he’d turn this silly.
"Whoa! I saw... I saw him move... I saw his feet... His feet. Xing... He is going to put a hole in your belly... Xing, Look.. Look... His feet. Don’t poke your mother ", Chenglei placed his hand over her belly as if he was holding the crack in a dam as he became anxious seeing the little feet clearly visible through her clothes and he really was scared if that little imp in there would tear her apart to come out.
