Chapter 427: The Big Decision
"You’ve eliminated an enemy of ours", the boasting voice of the Heavenly Emperor was heard as Xing walked inside the Heavenly council.
Xing’s hands holding the urn tightened. Seeing their Prince in bloodied apparel, everyone gave way and Xing stood in front of the big throne where the ruler of the Heavens was seated.
" I did not kill my ancestor because he was your enemy", Xing made it clear and her face had a little contempt making the Heavenly Emperor frown in anger.
Is she mocking us since that mortal always had one above us? Even when he died, he gave a big blow to our realm by closing the portals!
"Give his blood so we could unseal the portals", the Heavenly Emperor commanded.
Xing as the one who never cared about authority just smirked.
Guess that was a big blow to their ego!
" None of his blood remains since I burnt him", she spoke politely but her voice had a pride in it.
This spell must need his own blood to unseal and even her blood is useless it seems.
Either my blood is useless or no one dares to ask for my blood. Either way Xing didn’t care. Her master face his life for sealing the portals and she had no intention of reopening them.
"There is some left...", she looked at her robes, "And I dare anyone of you to try and get it", she smiled politely. But her tone had a warning undertone.
"It is settled then!", Fei Lian who always protected her tried to soothe their Emperor from punishing her brash behaviour.
