Chenglei wanted to stay in the Jin Manor for some more days but Xing insisted on returning back to the capital city. She knew Takanashi would be planning something soon, now that he had failed in getting the Ouyang Navy. Bai Li’s warning echoed in her mind too.

And there were rumours of a celebratory banquet that was planned to be arranged for the holder of the White Tiger Token who brought back the Ouyang Navy.
Xing knew it was Chenglei who was able to spread these news this fast around the kingdom.
No wonder this guy tried to delay me! If I was any late I’d be directly lead to a celebratory banquet without any way to refuse.
"Cancel the celebratory Banquet!", Xing spoke in a commanding tone to Chenglei who was sitting in her garden, sipping her tea.
"What celebratory banquet?", he feigned ignorance. He wanted everyone to praise his woman and he wanted to see it. How could she refuse?
Xing saw him looking indifferent drinking tea and decided to change her tactic. She didn’t want to be exalted as some saviour like before. She hated that feeling and she just wanted a normal peaceful life.
