Chapter 341: Being Stopped
The next day Xing was taking a floral bath before preparing to leave for the banquet. She asked Xiao Mei to guard her and indulged herself in the bath that had the perfectly warm water no matter how long she was in the water.
Mazu is at it again! Xing knew.
Xing sensed the familiar light footsteps getting closer to the bath area and she called for Xiao Mei to stop him. She cannot let Chenglei take liberties with her lest he thinks of her as a loose woman.
There was no answer from Xiao Mei but the familiar deep voice that would entice her everytime she hears it, rang in front of her, "You are going to wear purple?", and his ethereal for appeared inside the room.
"You.... Why are you here?", Xing got flustered seeing him nearing her.
Wait... He already saw what I’m going to wear...? This guy!
Xing knew purple can only he worn by Royal family members in these kind of banquets. But she decided to wear purple purposely.
" Why can’t I?", Chenglei smirked and sat in front of her in the small couch in the bath area picking up the robe lying there for her to wear after she gets out of the bath and placed it over his mouth as if kissing it.
"Mmm... Smells good!", he mumbled making Xing go red.
This guy! Was he always this shameless?
"Xiao Mei", Xing bellowed for her. There is no way she’d have let Chenglei in after she asked her to guard the room.
"Why are you shouting... She’s fine.... She’s with Mubai!", Chenglei spile calmly. He had to ask his sidekick to take care of her loyal maid who’d dare to oppose him... She’d stop him everytime he tried to sneak in. How insolent!
