Chenglei’s cold gaze flickered to sorrow for a moment before returning to coldness seeing Shihong trying to answer., "No, why? ". He wasn’t sure why she brought that up now.
Xing snorted, "Hey, Shihong! Did you know that poison made me a barren?", she looked at Shihong’s eyes that was flickering with joy.
Chenglei fisted his hands hard as he never liked her addressing herself as barren. She really uses words without knowing the weight of them. Words are powerful! She should not describe herself as a barren.
Seeing Shihong smile, Xing executed her plan of pulling out the sapling of happiness that has been rooted in his heart.
"In a way, we both are same... We both are women and we both won’t be able to carry children...", she smirked and Shihong wondered why she is saying this now and Xing could hear Shihong getting stressed and as his heart beat faster, his wound bled more.

But guess what...?", she looked at Chenglei who now almost got what she is planning and had a painful smirk and she nodded at him that she is fine.

"What are you waiting for you Mortal! Kill the woman!", Old Rong who cannot stay quiet with everything going around, shouted. Chenglei just placed the halberd on the floor without minding the curses from the god.
"How are you not a woman?", Chenglei spoke in a serenading tone, "It sure didn’t seem that way the other say when we... !", he pecked her lips.
Shihong realised something is wrong and him kissing her in front of him enraged him and he tried to speak but he couldn’t and Xing continued, with Chenglei by her side, " Have you guessed yet? Chenglei never stopped loving me... And neither did I! Even after he knew I can’t bear him children, he still promised to love only me and he joined your gang to destroy you and help me get to Old Rong!", Xing paused to let everything sink into Shihong’s heart and she could see him frozen. But she could also sense that the god is trying to accumulate his power for a single fatal blow on her but she wanted to destroy Shihong and make him feel the same pain she felt when she learnt that she cannot carry a child.
