Chapter 293: She Outed Herself!
Xing who was sitting leaning in the door. amid the noise of shattering porcelain felt like her soul was ripped out from her. She knew Chenglei must be breaking down right now. He has spent half of his life for her to find a way for them to be together. He has went through immeasurable struggles all this time. His entire thoughts and everything he did, he did so that it would get him closer to her.
To think she betrayed him... She was surprised he haven’t kill her yet.
Then again, that’s how much he loves me!
Some time after, the noise stopped breaking her deep thoughts and Xing kept her eyes on the kitchen to see if he comes out.
What has he decided? She was impatient to know.
But he didn’t come out even after what seemed to be like an eternity for her.
Could he have been hurt by the broken shards..? Or... Did he...?
Xing who was extremely worried but didn’t want to seem concerned over him for her mission of pushing him away, crawled on all fours towards the kitchen to have a look at Chenglei. She didn’t want him to get hurt because of her but she didn’t want him to know that she worries for him.

She crawled like a toddler on the floor and reached the door of the kitchen and positioned herself so that she won’t be in his line of sight and poked her head inside, using the support of the doorframe with one hand.
Chenglei was sitting on a stool with his hands kneading his temples as if he was in deep contemplation. She even felt a murderous aura around him.
He is thinking of killing me! Xing sighed in relief, realising he is fine.
