Chapter 56: Kiss

"What?" I whispered because it felt like I hadn’t heard right.
My face felt like it was on fire and my hesrt was beating so fast, it felt like it might fly out from my mouth.
He wanted me to kiss him?
Oh god.
His head cocked sideways as he regarded me with those deep eyes of his that always felt like they could see right into my soul.
"Give me a kiss." He stated in that low, husky voice of his that sent shivers down my spine, eyes still boring into mine.
I could feel his heartbeat agsinst mine, it was stready and unlike my racing one. I could feel how hot his skin against mine, because although he had a shirt on, it was unbuttoned so it made no difference to be honest. I couldn’t not touch his bare skin because I was literally straddling him like he was a bed. I didn’t know why he decided to put me on top of him, and one of his hands was on my waist, pinning me against him.
I looked away from his eyes to his lips, and at once, my cheeks pinked up once again. His lips were thin and pale pink, unlike my full and naturally chery colored ones. He didn’t look like he was joking right now, he looked like he actually wanted me to kiss him.
It was something I wanted. I thought that was what he had been about to do when he was previously straddling me. I’d have liked it that way, if he had just done it himself instead of asking me to do it to him.
